Robert Dinero is to play legendary Green Bay Packers coach Vince Lombardi in a biopic being developed by ESPN Films. The movie is going to be called Lombardi. Its going to come into theatres in January of 2012. The film will focus on the years that Lombardi rebuilt the Packers into a gridiron powerhouse, and five-time champions, between 1959-67.
I think its great that they have Robert Dinero playing the part of Vince Lombardi. He is a great actor and will bring many good qualities to the table. Robert Dinero has made many movies into award winners because of his extraordinary acting skills and professionalism. I think he will help give this movie the popularity and awards it deserves.
