Recently a woman came forward claiming to have been sexually assualted by Eric Foster of the Indianapolis Colts. Her name was not mentioned but she claims this took place during Eric Foster's stay at the University Place Hotel the morning of the 2010 AFC Championship Game in January. She claims to have been delivering dental products to his room when the assault took place. She claims that he exposed his genitals to her and fondled her against her will.
I think if he is found guilty of this heinous crime immediate actions should take place on the field and off. He is representing the Colts and Indiana and it makes us look bad when he commits a crime. However, we can't assume he's guilty just because some girl claims he sexually assaulted her. There have been many cases where people have claimed they were assaulted by celebritys just to get on camera or possibly some lawsuit money.
I agree with Mason. If Foster is found guilty, he should be strictly disciplined by both the NFL and the judicial system. It is a terrible crime to commit and anyone who does should face their time. However I don't think Foster is guilty of this crime. There are many people in the world that would accuse a celebrity of a crime simply to have a chance at getting money out of a lawsuit. If he is found guilty, then he should take responsibility and accept his ounishment and serve them
ReplyDeleteI agree with the both of you. If Foster is found guilty then he should be taken to court and prosecuted for his action. However, I also think that he is no necessarily guilty because the woman who came forward could have been mentally ill or in need of money or something. A lot of people are sue-happy these days, so she might have just wanted to fabricate a story and make headlines.
