On April 29, a man wielding a knife broke into a daycare and injured 28 children, two teachers, and a security guard in a kindergarden in Southern China. The man's name was Xu Yuyuan. After he injured these people he set himself on fire. The attack is the fourth reported school stabbing in China in recent weeks, and the rash of violence has prompted public calls for more measures to protect students in a country where many couples only have one child.
I think these schools should pay for more security since this has become a common thing in China the past couple of weeks. I think it's terrible that innocent children are being targeted. I don't understand what could inspire that kind of violence against children. I think a couple extra thousand dollars a year is worth keeping your children safe.
I agree with Mason. China can afford to spend more money on security for it's citizens. I also have no idea what would inspire anyone to do something like this. Innocent children are being killed, and it needs to end. Families are only allowed to have one child, but many children are being killed for no reason. The government needs to do what it can to make sure something like this doesn't happen again.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I think the government needs to lighten up a little bit and take action towards preventing these kinds of accidents, because couples are only allowed to have one child and the children aren't even safe. The government needs to put tighter security in schools to ensure the safety of these kids.
